Material preparation
Sort, straighten and store rebar in protected areas; identify materials for use.
A four-month, full-time programme in Bucharest leading to an EQF Level 3 occupational qualification. Graduates are placed on a regulated Romanian construction site within thirty days of graduation.

From sorting and shaping steel reinforcement to assembling cages and verifying quality before the pour — the rebar fixer ensures that every reinforced concrete element behaves as engineered.
Training is built around the six core activities of a working rebar fixer. Each module combines classroom instruction with supervised practice on the working site at our Bucharest atelier.

Sort, straighten and store rebar in protected areas; identify materials for use.

Cut rebar with precision, bend to correct profiles per technical drawings, group by type.

Position and fix rebar in structural elements; tie nodes and install spacers per norms.

Firmly bind bars to prevent deformation of cages during movement and concreting.

Identify, transport and handle materials for current work needs on site.

Verify reinforcement works, take quality samples, and identify and eliminate defects.

The Schola construction atelier in Bucharest is fitted to commercial standard. Every module is taught with the same materials, hand tools and site equipment you will find on your first day of work.
Issued on completion of the programme. Both documents are recognised throughout Romania and the EU under Government Ordinance 129/2000.
